“I have always understood that your wedding day is not about me.
However, it helps to know a little bit about the person behind the camera.”
Who am I?
I've been telling love stories through photo + video for over a decade now! I fell in love with videography in college, became super passionate about photography once I graduated, and shot my first wedding back in 2012. At this point I've done well over 500 weddings in my career so far, and I'll keep doing it until I'm old and grey.
I'm so grateful for every couple that has given me the opportunity to be a part of their amazing story. I've experienced so many unforgettable memories and felt so much love and appreciation over the years.
The only thing that beats a wedding day is spending time with my wife, Christine, and our daughter, Lily!
No but really… who am I?
I’m an artist, a husband, a brother, a dear friend, a visual storyteller and a creative soul. I was born and raised in central New Jersey (if such a thing exists) where I still reside. I have a deep appreciation for the nostalgic things in life. Things that have the ability to bring you back to a happy place in your lifetime. I suppose this is why I love what I do so much, why it is so fulfilling.
I am creating those nostalgic things for everyone else.
How did I get started?
I suppose I have always been an artist in some way. When I was younger I loved to draw. When I was in college I got heavily involved in videography and later in my college career took up photography as a hobby. I eventually got started in the wedding industry working for a company and moving from second photographer to the main photographer. I took on more responsibilities and worked for a second company as their feature photographer. Along the way I had numerous mentors who taught me more than I ever could have learned in a classroom.
Ten years in the industry has given me the absolute honor of sharing love stories for over 400 couples!
What’s my philosophy?
I think it’s important to do things with a purpose, to have a vision and a goal. You can measure success many different ways, but I don’t measure my success by how much I get to charge for my services or how many clients I have. I would rather measure my success by the impact that I have on each couple. The texts, emails, calls that I receive when couples are overcome with tears of joy mean more than anything. Hearing someone say they have looked for so long and I was exactly what they were looking for in a photographer means more than anything.
You could choose any photographer in the world, putting your complete trust in me, that means everything.
